To qualify as a Deyin Taijiquan Institute instructor,
the following criteria must be fulfilled and subject to the final approval by the chief instructors
Instructor - Level 1

Minimun two years training.

Completed and assessed satisfactorily on 5 Instructor modules in which includes 24 Step Taijiquan module & 8 Step Module.
Instructor - Level 2
-
Minimun 5 years training.

Minimum of 2 years teaching experience
-
Qualified as level 1 instructor
-
Completed and assessed satisfactorily on 10 Instructor modules (include 5 from L1), in which includes 32 Step TaijiSword module & 88 Step Yang Style Taijiquan Module.
Instructor - Level 3
-
Minimun 10 years training.

Minimum of 5 years teaching experience
-
Qualified as level 2 instructor
-
Completed and assessed satisfactorily on 15 Instructor modules (include 10 from L1 & L2), in which includes 56 Step Yang Style Taiji Sword module & Yang Style Taiji Sabre Module.
Senior Instructor -
-
Minimun 15 years training.

Minimum of 10 years teaching experience, minimum 5 of which under the Deyin Banner.

Qualified as level 3 instructor
-
Completed and assessed satisfactorily on 15 Instructor modules
-
appointed by Master Faye & Tary Yip.

Assessments:
All assessments are held at our annual training camp in Wolverhampton. All members are encouraged to take part although its not obligatory.
Certificates of assessment will be issued to successful participants and endorsed by Professor Li Deyin, Faye (Li) and Tary Yip.
Note:
All Deyin instructors are encouraged to learn other styles or forms as a way of enriching their understand of Taiji as a whole. However, Deyin Taijiquan Institute's syllabus must be strictly adhered to and no styles or forms, which are not listed in the syllabus should be taught in classes without prior permission of the Chief Instructors.
