I would recommend that should any of members (of Tai Chi Union for Great Briatin) wish tro visit China that you should contact Faye Yip, Who I particularly wish to thank for helping to make possible the TCUGB's delegation visit (to 2nd traditonal wushu festival 2006 in China and sightseeing in numerous cities including Beijing and Shanghai) so enjoyable.

Hi Tary:

Just a short note to thank you for organizing, over-seeing, and teaching during our week together in Beijing. I had a grand time .......even the little hutong hotel!  We did have a very nice day at the temple and caves and felt well cared for by Tony............ Our whole trip was blessed with many good people and things and nice surprises.

Thanks again to you for including me and for all you did to make it a memorable experience!  Hope to be together again soon.

Just wanted to thank you again for a wonderful trip to China - what an adventure!! Just been looking through the 800 photos and the memories come flooding back. Whenever I try to pick out the highlights its impossible as the whole trip was incredible and I felt the balance of training and sightseeing was just right.

The hovel, spelling mistake sorry "hotel", at the top of Mount Taishan is now a distant memory. watching the sunrise more than compensated for the lack of facilities and I am so glad I climbed all those 1000 steps was it?!!!!

I enjoyed the whole trip but the highlights were the visits to Wudang Shan and Xian. I had looked forward to seeing the terracotta warriors, and the visit lived up to expectations. Wudang Shan is a place of breathtaking scenic beauty, worth the trip in the cable car.

The travel arrangements allowed us to see different aspects of China, particularly the countryside, which we wouldn't have done had we only travelled by plane. Thank you for the care you took in making the arrangements and throughout the trip.

Visiting China was a dream of a life time for me and Tary certainly helped to make that dream come true. His outstanding organisational skills and careful group planning ensured that we were always well taken care of and that we had a most memorable China experience.

Tary's sense of humor, his knowledge of Chinese customs, food, history and the country in general, his willingness to help where needed and his ability to accommodate the needs of many people made the difference between a good experience and a great one!!. Got back to Perth early yesterday morning, absolutely knackered. Had a brilliant time.

I myself found out quite a few things about my group, they can certainly shop and in some cases, money does not seem to be a problem!! That is a eye opener, I think I need to raise the tuition fees!! They all thoroughly enjoyed themselves and expressed their heartfelt thanks to your mum and dad and Tary for looking after us and putting up with these crazy aussies. I shall be sending a few photos at a time, don't want to overload your mail box. Will definitely organise my trip to UK in 2010 to coincide with your mum and dad visit, now that I know when they would be there. Once again, thanks for organising the trip and Tary, for looking after everything, pretty hairy at times!!

I am safely back in Olympia, Washington, thank you. The China trip was absolutely fantastic. As I look through my pictures, I am amazed at all we did and saw and the many places we visited. I can't wait to show my husband and friends when I get back to Saudi Arabia.

I hope that we can work together to plan a workshop next year in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, and a trip to China later in the year. I will discuss all these ideas with my other Board members when I get back, and will stay in close touch with you. Thanks again for everything.

The trip was just fantastic and I will certainly recommend it to anyone who asks. I spoke to my teacher about the possibility of organising a Wu based trip but he feels that with so many people losing their jobs at the moment this isn't a great time. Maybe it's something to think about.
