For people who would like to make the most of their holiday and see China to its full, why not take advantage of the extension below, you will see the world famous Terra Cotta Warriors, 2000 years old Wild Goose Pagoda as well as all the great sites in Beijing, such as Fobidden City, Great Wall, Summer Palace etc....

This extension will start at the Wudang Mountain on day 16 of the main trip and the itinerary will be as below;

Itinerary:

Day 16 – 22nd Oct Wudang Mountain – Xian (B only, lunch & dinner not included)
Check out in the morning and down the mountain to catch coach to the ancient Capital of China “Xi’an”, met by local guide at Xi’an coach station. Check in to hotel and rest for the day. (Local guide will organise Taxi transport for these few days)

Day 17 – B, L (dinner not included)
Morning visit to the city wall, one of the most well preserved city wall in China, you can rent a bike to cycle (100 yuan approx.) round the wall. Afternoon visit the world famous Terra Cotta warriors and come face to face with two thousand years of history.

Evening optional entertainment - “Tang Dance”, which is a traditional dance performance show with beautiful costumes.(£24 each)

Day 18 – B, L (dinner not included)
visit the 2000 year old wild goose Pagoda, a famous religious landmark. Overnight Sleeper train back to Beijing.

The next few days’ main transport will be either underground subway or Taxi, whichever is time saving and convenient

Day 19 – B, L (dinner can be organise around £8 each)
You will be met by Beijing guide at train station and go back to hotel. afternoon visit the Summer Palace, which was the royal garden for emperors with beautifully landscape and breathtaking man made garden lake. After visit Silk factory to see some of the most beautiful silk garment and duvets etc.

Day 20 – B, L (dinner not included)
Visit the first of 7 wonders of the world, Great Wall of China. Visit the Jade factory where you can learn more about jade and how to distinguish the real jade from the fakes.

Day 21 – B, L (dinner not included)

Visit the Temple of heaven and watch people practise Tai Chi in the park. Visit the Tiananmen Square & Forbidden city.

Day 22 – 28th Oct (B only)
Transfer to airport for flight back to Beijing.
