Introduction

The concept of the life energy ‘Qi' is central to the ancient belief systems and traditional Chinese medical philosophies. It is found in all living things and it keeps us alive, function well till the moment of our death. Qi flows through the whole body along the network of minute and precise channels called ‘Jing Luo' or ‘energy lines'. On each and every channel, there are numerous points called ‘meridians' or ‘acupuncture points'. These channels are rivers and streams of the body, transporting vital energy to every cell, muscle, organ and interacting system.

Aims of Peng Qi Guan Ding

Peng Qi Guan Ding Qigong is one of the most well received and practised qigong forms in China in during the last thirty years.

The prime aim of Deing Qi Guan Ding is that by practising regularly, we can complete a process of self internal cleansing and by achieving this cleansing cycle, our internal energy is rejuvenated and recharged.

This qigong will effectively develop one's sensitivity to the internal flow of qi, establish the correct breathing and body rhythm, improve one's ability to focus the mind & qi. Practising Peng Qi Guan Ding requires the complete harmony of the mind, the qi and the body. The relaxed and deep breathing is the key to connect all three. When the qi is synchronised with the mind, your mind can lead the qi, to which the body will follow.

The guiding principle of Peng Qi Guan Ding is that the natural energy found in our nature can be nutritious to our internal flow of energy and through focused gentle, natural exercises of qigong, this natural qi can be collected into our cleansing cycle and to generate our internal qi.
